Britney Spears’ husband Sam Asghari has reportedly made allegations that the couple’s fights could become physical.
Sources have claimed Asghari, 29, said that Spears, 41, punched him while he was asleep which caused a black eye.
It is alleged the incident happened earlier this year.
TMZ also reported that security got involved during some other alleged altercations.
This comes after reports that the couple are set to divorce after one year of marriage.
Spears and Asghari first met on the set of the singer’s music video for Slumber Party back in 2016, the pair became inseparable, with Sam remaining by the Toxic chart-topper’s side throughout her conservatorship battle.

The couple married at Britney’s Thousand Oaks home on June 9 last year in front of a celebrity-stacked guest list including Paris Hilton, Selena Gomez and Madonna, after getting engaged the previous September.
They have reportedly now gone their separate ways, with Asghari said to have officially filed for divorce just 14 months later.
According to the dissolution of marriage petition filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court, as seen by the BBC, Asghari has asked that spousal support and attorneys’ fees be paid by Britney.
Asghari is Spears’ third husband, following marriages to Jason Alexander and Kevin Federline.
Both Asghari and Spears have yet to address the reports publicly of their separation or divorce.
