Britney Spears conservatorship: Star fights to make family secrets public
Sky News says Britney Spears is fighting to release details about her conservatorship to be made public. But her father is fighting to keep the case sealed.
Jamie Spears has had strict control over his daughter’s life since 2008 when the pop star had a very public breakdown. He was given control over Britney’s personal and financial decisions.
Britney, 38, is asking an LA judge to allow scrutiny of the conservatorship, with lawyers saying its in both her and the public’s interest.

Harry and Meghan sign Netflix deal to produce movies
WTX News says Harry and Meghan have signed a deal with Netflix to create documentaries, feature films and other shows.
It comes after the couple stepped down as senior royals earlier this year.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be producing films and series for the streaming platform, including scripted series, docu-series, documentaries, features and children’s programming.

Strictly 2020: Popstar HRVY joins the line-up
BBC News says Popstar HRVY has been confirmed as the 11th celebrity contestant on this year’s Strictly Come Dancing.
The 21-year-old, whose real name is Harvey Leigh Cantwell, has more than a billion combined streams to his name.
The 2020 series will begin in October but will be shorter than usual, and judge Bruno Tonioli will have a reduced role amid coronavirus restrictions.

Warner Bros. responds to The Batman’s Covid-19 shutdown
ScreenRant says after Robert Pattinson tested positive for coronavirus, Warner Media reveals what they’re currently doing about the matter following The Batman production shut down.
Directed by Matt Reeves, the upcoming DC Films project will feature Pattinson’s debut as a brand new Caped Crusader after Ben Affleck’s exit. That said, it will exist in its own universe and won’t be connected to the established continuity in the DCEU.

Rapper Silento charged with felony assault following reports of a hatchet attack
Music-News says Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae) rapper Silento was charged with felony assault on Thursday, after allegedly attacking two people with a hatchet.
The 22-year-old, real name Richard Lamar Hawk, was arrested and charged with two counts of assault with a deadly weapon, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.

Louis Theroux regrets how he addressed transgender inmate while filming prison doc
NME says Louis Theroux has said he regrets the way in which he spoke to a transgender inmate when filming his 2008 documentary Life Behind Bars.
The documentarian recalled a conversation he had with Deborah, a transgender woman who started transitioning after being incarcerated.
