Following the story of a murder investigation into 11-year-old Danny Latimer who was found dead on a beach, the series is set in a quiet, fictional coastal town.

When is Broadchurch coming to Netflix?

Broadchurch has been added to the ‘Worth the Wait’ section on Netflix, where upcoming additions to the streaming platform are teased.

It was added on Tuesday, November 18.

The show’s addictive quality makes it the perfect thrilling watch to get your teeth into during the winter months.

Episodes are also available to stream on ITVX.

Why did Broadchurch become such a hit?

Not only is it fronted by the legends that are David Tennant and Olivia Colman, the cast is full of other British television icons – from Jodie Whittaker as the bereaved Mum, to Jonathan Bailey as a local journalist working on the story.

Google Reviewer, Deb Armstrong, called it ‘intense and riveting’.

She said: ‘You just cannot WAIT for the next one to start. I am really good at guessing who the murderer or culprit is in movies, but not this one.’
