A flight from Brazil to London was delayed by a whole day after the crew had a row about their taxi fare and ended up getting robbed.
The crew members insisted on being dropped off at the side of the road despite it being the middle of the night because they thought the fare was a ‘rip off’.
The taxi then dropped the group at the side of the road in the Penha neighbourhood in the north of Rio, where they were robbed.
The crew were supposed to be staying in the city for one night before working on the BA flight back to London the following day.
Local police said the group, who were off duty at the time of the taxi incident, had insisted on being dropped off on a random road after rowing over the taxi fare in the early hours of Tuesday 5th September.

Within minutes of getting out of the taxi they were robbed on the street, according to local media reports.
The crew had been dropped off in the Penha area of the city, which is miles away from where they were staying in a hotel in Copacabana.
They weren’t due to fly back until 9.50pm on Wednesday 6th September.
But flight BA-248 from Rio to Heathrow was reportedly postponed because of the middle-of-the-night robbery.
According to local police, the victims gave statements after the incident was reported to the 27th Police Station (Vicente de Carvalho) and forwarded to the Special Tourism Support Police Station.
The postponed flight was then scheduled for the following day, Thursday 7th September, at 10:15pm, over 24 hours after it was originally due to take off.
The investigation is ongoing and local police are looking into what happened.
