British woman ‘raped while lying unconscious in the street in Mallorca’
The Daily Mirror: A British woman was raped while she was unconscious in a street in Mallorca, with a man arrested on suspicion of sexual assault, according to reports.
Several people are said to have witnessed the assault in the early hours of this morning in Playa de Palma.
They called the police and held the man alleged to have been responsible for the horror attack until officers arrived on the scene.
The woman, said to be a British tourist and aged around 50, was taken to hospital.
Spanish newspapers say the attack happened around 3am in Miquel Pellisa street in the zone of Las Maravillas.
