Brentford offer Christian Eriksen a six-month contract – reports
Brentford is reportedly in talks with footballer Christian Eriksen over a return to the Premier League. It is believed that the club has offered the 29-year-old striker a six-month deal with the option to extend for a further year, according to reports from The Athletic.
Eriksen suffered a cardiac arrest during Demark’s Euro 2020 campaign in a match against Finland. He was let go from his club Inter Milan after coming to an agreement to terminate his contract last month.
Despite his professional setback, Eriksen has made it clear he wants to continue playing football professionally and is hopeful he will get a place in Denmark’s Qatar World Cup squad later this year.
Brentford is among the Premier League clubs interested in Christian Eriksen after he was released by Inter Milan last month because Italian rules do not allow someone to play with an implanted cardioverter defibrillator.

Eriksen played for Tottenham Hotspur between 2013 and 2020 and made over 300 appearances for the club. His agent Martin Schoots said Eriksen returning to English football would “feel like coming home.”
Eriksen was left unable to play for Inter Milan due to Serie A’s medical rules about implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICD).
