Boris Johnson’s sister Rachel is set to be put through her paces after signing up for SAS: Who Dares Wins.
The younger sister of the former Prime Minister, Rachel, 57, is best known for her work as a journalist, television presenter and author, frequently appearing on political discussion panels.
She also tried her hand at politics in 2019, being the lead candidate for Change UK for the South West England constituency in the 2019 European Parliament election.
Now she’s said to have signed up to see if she can pass the challenge of the reality TV show’s Special Forces selection course.
Her signing comes after the likes of Matt Hancock, James Argent and Teddy Soares filmed the upcoming season of the show last year.
With the upcoming season on the horizon, it’s been reported that Rachel has flown to New Zealand ahead of filming.

‘Rachel is Channel 4’s star signing for SAS,’ a source said.
‘They hope she will spill the beans about her childhood with Boris during the tough interrogations.
‘Rachel is a tough woman and will give it her all. But she had a gilded upbringing and might struggle when it’s freezing cold, she has barely slept and is being made to do extreme exercises,’ they added when speaking to The Sun.
Rachel is set to be joined by stars including ex-Dancing On Ice judge John Barrowman, Love Island star Ovie Soko and Towie’s Pete Wicks, who was forced to pull out of the show early last year after a nasty accident during filming.

The series will mark John’s return to screens after he left the ITV reality series in 2021 following historical claims of sexual misconduct emerging.
A former star of Doctor Who and Torchwood, John was accused of repeatedly exposing himself on set.
He later went on to apologise for his behaviour and said it was ‘only ever intended in good humour to entertain colleagues on set and backstage’, but said that ‘with the benefit of hindsight’ he understood ‘upset may have been caused by my exuberant behaviour’.
Other contestants set to appear on the upcoming season of SAS also include Bianca Gascoigne and Geordie Shore star Marnie Simpson.
Last month it was reported that while this celebrity version of the series was going ahead, the original series which starred everyday people was getting the boot.
A spokesperson for the broadcaster told The Sun said that ‘due to the huge success of Celebrity SAS’, the channel had decided to shift its focus to ‘prioritise this strand’.
It won’t be the first time Rachel has appeared on reality TV, previously entering the Celebrity Big Brother House in 2018, however she was evicted second.
Metro.co.uk has contacted Channel 4 and representatives for Rachel Johnson for comment.
SAS: Who Dares Wins is streaming on All4.
