Blood-thirsty vampire movies to stream this weekend if you loved Sinners

Here are some of the best vampire movies to sink your teeth into this weekend. Here are some of the best vampire movies to watch this weekend if you loved Sinners.

The movie stars Jordan in 2025’s latest dual roles, playing twin brothers Smoke and Stack, who move back to their hometown from Chicago to open a juke joint.

They return home to learn that an even greater evil is waiting for them as vampires plague the area.

The Michael B Jordan vampire-filled horror film has been lauded by fans who are obsessed with the creepy atmospheric horror from Ryan Coogler.

The movie has gained a huge amount of praise, with a 97% ranking on Rotten Tomatoes and Metro‘s Tori Brazier commenting: ‘Sinners is likely the liveliest party you’ll be invited to this year about the undead, with barn-storming music, movie-star magnetism from Michael B Jordan and a fabulously entertaining take on how to build a horror film around vampires.’

If you also loved Sinners and are now looking for some vampire flicks to watch this weekend, here are some of the best ones to sink your teeth into.

What We Do In the Shadows (2014)

What We Do in the Shadows is a vampire comedy from Jemaine Clement and Taika Waititi that simply has to be on the must-watch list for any vampire-film fan.

The movie focuses on an obscure concept about a group of vampires who are living in a house share in New Zealand.

The mockumentary style film adds to the film’s absurdity with incredible performances from the lead actors.

The film combines all the best aspects of the genre, with blood, gore, and myth at the centre of the narrative – all wrapped in an original, fresh way to tell a vampire story.

What We Do in the Shadows is available to stream on Amazon Prime with a Channel 101 subscription.

    Bram Stoker’s Dracula (1992)

Based on Bram Stoker’s original 1897 novel, Dracula, which established the legend of vampire Count Dracula, this book is nothing short of a classic.

Starring Gary Oldman (as Dracula), Winona Ryder, Anthony Hopkins, and Keanu Reeves, the cast is absolutely stacked and is a camp delight.

The story focuses on Jonathan Harker (Reeves) a solicitor whose life is turned upside down after he visits his mysterious client Dracula (Oldman) in Transylvania, who catches a glimpse of Harker’s fiancée Mina Murray (Ryder) and believes her to be the reincarnation of his long-lost love.

The story is a gothic romance and features a truly terrible English accent from the dreamy Keanu.

Bram Stoker’s Dracula is available to buy or rent on Amazon Prime.

    Interview with the Vampire (1994)

Interview with the Vampire is a gothic horror starring Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, Antonio Banderas, Kirsten Dunst, and Christian Slater.

The story follows Lestat (Cruise) and Louis (Pitt) and who have been vampires for hundreds of years.

The film chronicles their lives together and their family, including their pseudo-daughter Claudia (Dunst) and their struggles with killing humans and drinking blood to live.

The film is told as Louis takes part in an interview with a San Franciscan reporter (Slater) in the present day in the 90s.

The movie is a great opportunity to see Cruise and Pitt in roles so far removed from their repertoire – and in some very creative wigs.

Interview with a Vampire is available to stream on Netflix

    Twilight (2008)

Twilight is a classic teen romance starring Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart that needed to be included in this list.

Regardless of the hatred it has earned over the years, the first original film is a perfect teen romance that blends classic vampire lore and angsty teen passion.

The movie tells the story of Bella Swan, who moves to Forks and encounters a mysterious, handsome schoolmate, Edward Cullen. The story follows their forbidden romance as Edward tries desperately not to kill and eat his new love interest.

The movie is still a cult classic, and while the rest of the franchise earned a huge fanbase, the blue-toned original movie is still the one that has an indie-edgy feel and a perfect soundtrack that captured the hearts of the fanbase to begin with.

Twilight is available to rent or buy on Amazon Prime.

    Nosferatu

Nosferatu was a smash hit in 2024, starring Bill Skarsgård, Nicholas Hoult, Lily Rose Depp, and Emma Corrin.

The movie is a remake of the German Expressionist 1922 silent movie of the same name, which was originally released as an unauthorised rip-off adaptation of Dracula.

The film is set in the early 1830s and follows an estate agent, Thomas Hutter, who travels to Transylvania to meet with a mysterious prospective client, Count Orlok.

Hutter’s wife, in his absence, stays with friends and begins to have horrifying and erotic visions, and soon encounters an evil force – which some have interpreted as the evil of the female orgasm.

The film was a box office smash and delighted viewers, earning an 84% ranking on Rotten Tomatoes.

Nosferatu is available to rent or buy on Amazon Prime.

    The Lost Boys

The Lost Boys is a 1987 comedy-horror with an ensemble cast including Jason Patric, Corey Haim, Kiefer Sutherland, Jamison Newlander, Dianne Wiest and Corey Feldman.

The movie focuses on two teenage brothers who move with their mother to Santa Carla, a fictional town which turns out to be home to a haven of vampires.

The movie is considered a cult classic and smashed the box office when it was released.

The movie has spawned an entire franchise, and is still considered one of the best vampire movies ever made that blends comedy and horror in the80s with finesse.

The Lost Boys is available to buy or rent on Amazon Prime

    From Dusk Till Dawn (1996)

The cult classic From Dusk Till Dawn is an action-horror film from Robert Rodriguez and screenwriter Quentin Tarantino.

The movie stars Tarantino and George Clooney as a pair of crime-loving brothers who take a family hostage in order to cross into Mexico.

This movie has the best turn in history, if you never ready anything about the movie, you would be shocked by the sudden emergence of vampires.

Unfortunately, things go from bad to worse as they find themselves trapped in a topless bar, fighting against a horde of vampires trying to attack.

The movie is a bonkers, but very original concept, that shows Clooney and Tarantino in roles you’ve truly never seen them in before.

From Dusk Till Dawn is available to stream on Paramount Plus or Amazon Prime with a Paramount package.
