Big Brother star Dylan Tennant has opened up about the huge argument that he had with Trish Balusa, saying that he felt ‘so bad’ in the aftermath.
During a very heated episode of the ITV2 show, the housemates discovered that Trish and Noky Simbani had been forced to put three of their fellow contestants up for eviction on Halloween.
While Kerry Riches was eventually the one who was sent home, Dylan was furious when he returned to the living room, shouting at Trish and describing the decision – in a remark that he’s since apologised for – as ‘Black on Black crime’.
During an interview with Metro.co.uk after his eviction with Paul Blackburn, which took place on Friday night, Dylan shared how all of the housemates had been reaching ‘breaking point’ before the explosive rant occurred.
‘It was coming from such a long day. I felt so bad. It was a stupid thing to say. At the end of the day, I was just really, really upset,’ he began.
‘I had just come off a nomination on the weekend and we’d all sat down and talked about how sad I was about it. And for that actual day that it happened, we didn’t have any food left in the house. We were eating pasta and beans. It was such a long day.

‘We had to keep reapplying the makeup. It was three hours in between every time we had to do a task and everybody – literally everybody – was at a breaking point.’
Dylan, 39, recalled how at the time, everyone in the House knew that someone was going to be sent home, and so when he found out that he was nominated for eviction once again, he was ‘just upset’.
‘It feels like everybody hates you when you’re nominated. It’s just upsetting. That just came out in the wrong way because I was starving, and I was just really tired,’ he stated.
‘Me and Trish sat down and talked about it. I apologised and we’re all good again.’
In a demonstration of how the pair have buried the hatchet, Dylan revealed that he and Trish, 33, had even discussed the prospect of starring in a music video together… with an on-the-nose introduction showing them having an argument.
‘So it’s all completely squashed and completely fine. I just had to apologise. It’s just a learning curve. Try not to talk when you’re hungry!’ he added.
After he and Trish’s intense row, Dylan found out that Noky, 26, had actually been the one to select him to be put up for elimination.

However, their friendship was back on track soon afterwards, he revealed.
‘Me and Noky were always very close in the House. After the bit that you saw when I just apologised for everything and all that sort of stuff, me and Noky just got on with being me and Noky,’ he said.
‘We share cooking tips and all that sort of stuff. On the last day she actually made a lemon drizzle cake, and she was giving me recipes for that. It just goes on as normal.’
Emphasising how quickly disagreements are nipped in the bud, he stated: ‘Literally everything is sorted out in less than 24 hours in that House, and everybody goes back to being normal.
‘We say what we have to say, get it all off our chests, and then we hug, kiss and make up. I can’t wait to see the girls when they come out. We’re all going to Benidorm in March.’
Big Brother returns at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
