Betty White’s cause of death confirmed as stroke which she suffered six days before ‘dying peacefully in sleep’
The Metro says Betty White’s cause of death has been confirmed as a stroke that took place six days before she died, according to reports.
Golden Girls actress White died on New Year’s Eve aged 99, just weeks before her 100th birthday and the news sent shockwaves around the globe.
TMZ claims her cause of death has been listed as a cerebrovascular accident, the official term for a stroke. She later died peacefully in her sleep at her home.
A stroke is a serious life-threatening medical condition that happens when the blood supply to part of the brain is cut off.
