Average Brit family faces paying more than a £1,000,000 in tax during lifetime
The Metro says The average British family faces paying more than £1million in tax over the course of their lifetime, new research suggests
The findings by the Taxpayers’ Alliance comes after Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Chancellor Rishi Sunak insisted on National Insurance hike worth £12billion a year.
Analysis of ONS data shows the lifetime tax bill for average households will pay over £1.1million in tax over their lifetime.
This means they would have to work a whole 18 years just to pay off the taxman, the figures suggest.
