The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has reported 2,526 new cases of Covid-19 on Monday, signalling the much feared ‘UAE Covid surge’ after conducting further 175,033 tests. These cases raised the total number of infections recorded in the country since the outbreak of the pandemic to 394,050.
