India to receive 30 tons of medical supplies amid Covid-19 crisis The Egyptian Minister of Health has announced that 30 tons of medical supplies have been sent to India to help support the country as it battles Covid-19. The move is a direct order of the Egyptian president.  The Ministry spokesman said the shipment included 300 oxygen cylinders, 20 ventilators, 100 medical beds, 20 electrocardiographs, 30 defibrillators, 50 infusion pumps, and 50 infusion syringes.  Adding the shipment would be sent in cooperation with the Egyptian Armed Forces.  Egypt has shown its keenness to help other countries in crisis. More than 44.3 million Covid-19 tests have been carried out in the UAE so far. The UAE has reported 1,847 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total number of infections to 523,795, the Ministry of Health and Prevention announced on Sunday. Two more COVID-19 patients have succumbed to the deadly virus, taking the country’s death toll up to 1,593.
