Eight people died and three others were injured when a toxic chemical leaked Saturday at a plant in the southwestern Chinese city of Guiyang, authorities said. The leak happened as workers were unloading a shipment of methyl formate from a vehicle at a chemical handling facility. In what can be a paradigm shift in the way Indians test themselves for Covid-19, the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has approved a self-use rapid antigen test (RAT) kit developed by Pune-based Mylab Discovery Solutions. Brisbane is set to be officially named host of the 2032 Olympics when the IOC meets in Tokyo next month.
