New covid travel rules, no PCR test and an overhaul of the travel traffic light system have been simplified in England with a single red list, and no PCR test for fully vaccinated, from 4 October. Transport Secretary Grant Shapps also said eight countries would be taken off the red list from Wednesday. As well as Turkey, Pakistan, the Maldives, Egypt, Sri Lanka, Oman, Bangladesh and Kenya are also being removed from the red list. They will come off the red list at 4 am on 22nd September.
