Strike action could hit summer holiday flights in Europe Flights across Europe this summer holiday period could face extreme disruption due to strike action by air traffic controllers. Second-day of disruption for strike-hit schools England’s schools are facing another day of disruption as teachers strike for a second time this week. Members of the National Education Union (NEU) are striking for the seventh day of national action since February, in a long-running dispute over pay. Wimbledon school crash: Driver quizzed after death of girl, 8 A woman in her 40s is being questioned over the car crash at a Wimbledon school, which left an eight-year-old girl dead and at least 16 others injured, some remain in critical condition. The woman remains in custody having been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
