Daily Star Sport – ‘Same old Aussies’ The back page of the Daily Star finds space to flag England’s achievements at the European Under-21 Championships after Newcastle United’s Anthony Gordon fired them into the semi-finals. The paper’s main image is of Jonny Bairstow who was controversially stumped out, leading to Australia winning the Ashes. The paper claims “same old Aussies” and calls the stumping “shameless.”

The paper says the England team were furious after he was stumped out and have branded it poor sportsmanship.
