Atomic Kitten’s Natasha Hamilton gives birth to 5th baby with incredible feline name

Welcome, Kitty! Already a legend (Picture: Instagram/Natasha Hamilton)

Natasha Hamilton has given birth to a baby girl – and we could be (cough) biased, but the name is pretty darn cool.

In fact, it could be the best name we’ve ever heard. Because while most Kittys in the world are short for Katherine (not me!), Natasha’s tot is a fully-fledged, no-apologies Kitty. And we love it.

The star announced the happy news she’s welcomed her fifth child alongside an adorable picture of her partner Charles Gay, 37, carrying little newborn Kitty out of the hospital.

Commenting on the snap, the Whole Again hitmaker, 41, said: ‘I cannot put in to words how we feel right now. Our family is complete🙏🏼.

    ‘Kitty Iris Gay – 14/08/23 💝

‘We couldn’t be any happier. Welcome to the world baby girl.’

As a Kitty with a good friend called Iris, Metro absolutely approves. Well done Natasha on your fine work.

While Natasha is already a mum to Josh, 20, Harry, 18, Alfie, 13, and eight-year-old Ella from previous relationships, this will be her first child with the fashion brand director.

Natasha previously revealed the name ahead of giving birth to Kitty, and shared that the moniker comes – not from the band – but from their grandmothers.

The singer revealed the name in an interview with OK! Magazine. ‘We’re going to call her Kitty Iris Gay,’ she said.

‘Kitty has nothing to do with the band!’, she explained. ‘My grandmother was Kitty and Charles’s grandmother was Iris and we just loved those names together.

‘They’re quite old-fashioned but there’s also a newness to them – they’re unusual and so cute.’

Unusual it may be, but welcome Kitty. You are part of a pretty legendary squad.

After Kitty, Natasha revealed the pair ‘are done’ with growing their family.

‘I love having a big family, but five is a big number and we want to have time to do all the nice things we love doing. So yes, Kitty is definitely going to be the last!’ she told the publication.

Natasha and Charles started dating in 2016 and got married in Lake Como, Italy, in 2021.
