Freddie Slater (Bobby Brazier) is set to be rocked by a bombshell as he is faced with the reality of who his real father is.
Since returning to Albert Square, Freddie has made himself perfectly at home with his extended family, though he remains curious about his real father, having learned that Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick) isn’t his biological dad.
In upcoming scenes, however, he is set to find out more about the despicable man himself as Graham Foster returns to the soap, played once more by Alex McSweeney.
Long-time viewers may remember Graham as a familiar face in the Queen Vic, and one who befriended Freddie’s mum Little Mo Slater (Kacey Ainsworth) before raping her, and eventually going to prison for his actions.
Now producers behind the show have confirmed he will be returning, but many may need a refresher as to who he is.
Here’s what you need to know.
Who is Graham Foster in EastEnders?
Graham first entered the soap in 2003 as a customer in the Queen Vic who bonds with Little Mo over a love of crosswords.

One night when the pair are alone in the pub, Graham refuses to leave and eventually makes his intentions clear towards her. Mo tries to flee, but Graham chases and rapes her.
The rape results in her conceiving Freddie, refusing to feel shame for raising a child who should not be blamed for his father’s actions.
Mo’s father Charlie Slater (Derek Martin) flies into a rage and assaults Graham after learning about what happened, leading to him facing prison time.
To add insult to injury, Grahan then sues Charlie for compensation which Mo’s sister Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) and her then-husband Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) are forced to pay.
However, Graham finally got his comeuppance in 2004 when he appeared before magistrates with Mo taking to the stand to give evidence alongside her husband Billy.
He is eventually sent to prison and later appeared in the show in 2005 when Billy visited him in prison.
Graham uses the visit to tease Billy about not being Freddie’s real father, and that he looks forward to seeing him when he is released in four years’ time. However, he has not since reappeared in the show.
On returning to EastEnders, actor Alex McSweeney said: ‘I was grateful to be asked back to EastEnders to reprise the role of Graham Foster as I thought it was important for Freddie Slater to be given some answers about his dad.

‘It was great to be back in Elstree and I thoroughly enjoyed working with the talented Bobby Brazier on these scenes.’
Chris Clenshaw, Executive Producer, added: ‘It’s great to welcome Alex back to the role of Graham Foster for a short stint.
‘Although we haven’t seen Graham for almost two decades, his character has been heavily linked to the show in the past year with the reintroduction of his son Freddie Slater, played by Bobby Brazier.
‘We felt that it was important for Freddie to find out about the circumstances relating to his conception so he can understand and process the identity of his dad.’
