Stylish? Yes. Appetising? Also, yes.
An artist who specialises in custom footwear has designed a pair of McDonald’s themed Nike Air Force 1s – and we’re absolutely lovin’ it.
Belgian artist Tijs Van Impe, also known as Tazz Customs on Instagram, partnered with McDonald’s Belgium to create these trainers in tribute to the Golden Arches.
And the custom kicks even feature a dip holder, so you’re never left holding the ketchup.
Writing on Instagram, Tazz explained that the shoes looked like a typical pair of Air Force 1s before he transformed them.
‘The design is based on the packaging,’ he wrote. ‘These shoes were completely white at the start and hand painted.’

Speaking to Metro.co.uk, Tazz added: ‘This pair took around one week from start to finish: prepping the shoes, making all the stencils, mixing the colors, airbrushing and hand painting everything, making the tongue tags, 3D printing the McDipholder.’
The 3D printed ‘McDipholder’, made in collaboration with graphic designer Sam Bracke, slots into the shoe, but can easily be removed, and is the perfect size to slot a pack of your chosen Maccies dip into.
And anyone who has adored a hungover McDonald’s will be familiar with the design of the trainer, inspired by the brown paper bags adorned with colourful logos thatyour meals arrive in.
The trainers also feature tongue tags with mini packets of chips – including individual ‘chips’ that can each be removed.
‘Sometimes, during the process you can still get some crazy ideas,’ says Tazz. ‘The tongue tags and McDipholders were things that came into my mind when I was already halfway in the process.’

These are not the first McDonald’s themed trainers Tazz has made.
Earlier this year, it took Tazz two weeks to paint another pair that are an ode to the humble French fry.
They feature cartoon drawings of chips on the front, while the back looks like a hamburger. The chunky laces also take their inspiration from the salty snack. Genius!
Sadly, since both pairs of trainers were an official collab with McDonald’s – and given away in a competition – you won’t be able to get your hands (or feet) on them.
Tazz adds: ‘Regular fans of my work will have to join one of their next giveaways for a chance to own a pair of customs in McDonald’s theme.’
