Arsenal legend Thierry Henry aimed a cheeky dig at north London rivals Tottenham during this year’s Best FIFA Football Awards ceremony.
Henry, one of the most adored players in Arsenal history, registered 228 goals and 103 assists across 377 games for the Gunners, helping the north Londoners win two Premier League titles and two FA Cups.
The Frenchman could not help himself from poking fun at Spurs as he revealed that Lionel Messi had been handed the best player award in London on Monday.
Messi was not present at the event so Henry collected it for him and said: ‘I turned up!’
The Arsenal hero then offered it to his co-host, Spurs fan Reshmin Chowdhury, because ‘you don’t win many trophies’.
Spurs have not landed any major silverware since 2008 when they won the League Cup.
Their last FA Cup triumph came in 1991 while they have not been champions of England since 1961.

It is not the first time this season Henry has teased Tottenham, with the Gunners icon left dumbfounded by Jermain Defoe’s top-four prediction last month.
Defoe had tipped his former club Spurs to finish above Arsenal which prompted a hilarious reaction from Henry.
Henry was quizzed in October if he would like to become the Arsenal manager one day but gave a coy response, insisting he has too much respect for Mikel Arteta.
