The Daily Mirror says Amanda Knox says she has contacted the family of her murdered roommate Meredith Kercher.
She said she now wants a relationship with them after she was acquitted of the 21-year-old Brit student’s murder in 2015.
The American woman and her then-boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito were initially found guilty of murdering Meredith in Italy in 2007 but were eventually acquitted after a series of court decisions.
New mum Knox, then a student, spent four years in jail in Perugia and is now working as a journalist and criminal justice activist in the US.
