All the misogyny and scandal plaguing iconic comedy blockbuster with A-list cast
Cast your minds back to 2010, when rape jokes were considered the height of risqué comedy and when Get Him to the Greek’s biggest shining stars – Russell Brand, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, and Jonah Hill – were at the peak of their Hollywood fame.
Directed by Nicholas Stoller and Jason Segel, Brand starred in the Forgetting Sarah Marshall spin-off film in his reprised role of rockstar Aldus Snow, with Combs posing as Sergio Roma, the chief of fictional record label Pinnacle Records.
Enter Hill as budding executive Aaron Green, who alongside Combs tries to get the wayward rocker to the Greek Theatre in LA for his 10th anniversary show.
Sounds like a perfectly innocent comedy… right?
