Coronation Street star Tina O’Brien and her mini-me daughter Scarlett Thomas stunned at a recent awards show.
The Sarah Platt actress, 40, was a vision in red while Scarlett wowed in a sparkly black slit number
The mother/daughter duo looked almost like twins as they made their way down the red carpet together at the RTS award show in Manchester.
Scarlett, who is Tina’s daughter from a previous relationship with former co-star Ryan Thomas – recently landed her very first acting nomination.
The 14-year-old plays Izzy Charles in BBC One show Waterloo Road, and wasrecognised in the favourite young actor category at the forthcoming TV Times Awards.
She was nominated alongside the likes of Emmerdale’s Amelia Flanagan, Coronation Street’s Jude Riordan and Lillia Turner, who plays Lily Slater in EastEnders.

As for Tina’s on-screen character Sarah Platt, things have reached a new level of complicated.
The return of Damon Hay (Ciaran Griffiths) will throw Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien), setting pulses racing.
Her short-lived romance with the bad boy was packed full of sparks, and when Damon arrives back on the cobbles, defying Adam Barlow’s (Sam Robertson) threats, his agenda to win back Sarah is instantly clear.

And it’s not long until these desires are reciprocated.
‘Damon has been somewhere away from Coronation Street plotting his revenge,’ Corrie’s producer Iain MacLeod told us.
‘The story then becomes a kind of love triangle where Damon, we also imagine has been spending his intervening months pining for Sarah.
‘I felt there was really intense feeling between those two, but really natural chemistry and connection, and he comes back with a kind of two-pronged plan.
‘The first of them is that he wants to get his revenge on Adam and the second of them is that he wants Sarah back because he feels like she’s the one. And he will essentially have to contend with the fact that these two plans might not be compatible.’
