A-level students hit the town after results success and year of chaotic Covid studies
The Daily Mirror says: Sixth-formers who celebrated their A-level results successes took to the streets for a night out to mark the end of their school studies.
Pictures taken in Newcastle showed student revellers out in the city hours after the nation’s older teenagers learned their fate on Tuesday.
With most Covid restrictions now gone students who would have had far less opportunity to go out and be social over the last year could finally let their hair down.
And the 18-year-olds were in luck, with the re-opening of nightclubs now given the go ahead in Wales, weeks after it was confirmed in England.
