Breaks just got nuttier (Picture: KitKat/Getty)
After taking a break, so to speak, a previously discontinued KitKat flavour is now back in action.
Nestle has announced that a KitKat variety that’s been absent from supermarket shelves for the past three years has returned – for a limited time only.
The sweet treat in question? The Hazelnut Cream KitKat Chunky.
Made up of crispy wafer topped with hazelnut spread and wrapped in milk chocolate, the mouth-watering bar is available to buy now.
You can find it in Tesco, McColls, Co-op, OneStop and SPAR for around 70p – although prices may vary depending on the store.
There’s no doubt the returning flavour is set to rival KitKat Chunky Peanut Butter, but anyone looking to get their hands on the new Hazelnut Cream bars will need to hurry, as they’re only available while stocks last.
KitKat assistant brand manager, Torin Zieboll, said: ‘It’s been three long years since KitKat Chunky Hazelnut was on sale in the UK, and we couldn’t resist bringing it back for chocolate fans to indulge in a little nutty decadence and turn up the heat on KitKat Chunky Peanut Butter, who has reigned supreme for more than a decade.’
If you’re looking for new exciting launches to add to your trolley, Aldi is now selling garlic bread crisps, alongside croque-monsieur ones.
