Reeves in pledge to defend UK interests
- The Chancellor’s pledge to “defend Britain’s interests” during trade talks with the US is all well and good but it is easier said than done. Britain doesn’t have many levers when it comes to trade negotiations with a superpower like the US.
- The pontiff will be laid to rest in a cathedral in Rome after his death on Easter Monday aged 88. Vatican officials confirmed on Tuesday funeral plans for the Pope, who died following a stroke during his convalescence from double pneumonia.
