CATANZARO – A 15-year-old boy died and six other young people were injured, some of them seriously, in a road accident that occurred last night in the Pierà area of Catanzaro, in a tunnel stretch of state road 109, which leads in Sila.
Two cars were involved in the accident, an Audi 4 and a Lancia Y. The firefighters of the Catanzaro provincial command were on site, extracting the injured, taken to hospital by 118 personnel, from the sheets of the cars on which they travelled. The police were also at the scene of the accident to investigate.
