Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs returns to Instagram with new post from behind bars
Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs returned to Instagram to wish his daughter a happy birthday, despite currently being in prison.
The disgraced rapper was taken into custody last month on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution – he has denied all allegations against him.
The 54-year-old was remanded to Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center and has been denied bail, after facing multiple allegations of sexual assault and rape.
A further six lawsuits dropped this week, with Texas-based lawyer Tony Buzbee claiming that he is representing around 120 alleged victims.
Earlier today, a new post appeared on his social media page, commemorating daughter Love’s second birthday.
Alongside a string of photos, showing Combs with his youngest child, he wrote: ‘Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday baby Love! Happy Birthday to you!!
‘Happy Birthday @loveseancombs daddy loves you.’
The comments were briefly turned on but have since been taken down.
Combs announced the arrival of his seventh child in December, 2022, welcoming Love with Dana Tran.
‘I’m so blessed to welcome my baby girl Love Sean Combs to the world,’ he tweeted at the time. ‘Mama Combs, Quincy, Justin, Christian, Chance, D’Lila, Jessie and myself all love you so much! God is the Greatest!’
He is also dad to Quincy, Justin, Christian, Chance and twins D’Lila and Jessie.
Combs is currently in custody after he was arrested last month – PageSix reports that his trial has been slated to begin on May 5, 2025.
The businessman has faced multiple lawsuits in recent months amid abuse and sexual assault allegations spanning decades.
Buzbee filed six lawsuits yesterday, with four featuring unnamed male accusers – one alleged that he was 16 years old when he was sexually assaulted at a white party.
‘We will expose the enablers who enabled this conduct behind closed doors,’ he declared last month. ‘We will pursue this matter no matter who the evidence implicates.
‘It’s a long list already, but because of the nature of this case, we are going to make damn sure that we’re right before we do that.
‘But the names that we’re going to name … are names that will shock you.’
‘The press conference and 1-800 number that preceded today’s barrage of filings were clear attempts to garner publicity,’ it read.
‘Mr Combs and his legal team have full confidence in the facts, their legal defenses, and the integrity of the judicial process.
‘In court, the truth will prevail: that Mr Combs has never sexually assaulted anyone- adult or minor, man or woman.’
