The Sun – England Euros drama: Phil’s baby dash
The Sun says England’s Phil Foden flew home from Euro 2024 in Germany as his partner went into labour with their third child. The paper says Foden has dashed home in time for the birth but will be back in time for Sunday’s clash against Slovakia. Elsewhere, the front page leaves room to offer up its assessment of the BBC general election debate – though it might be surprising it’s not more dominant on the front page. The paper says PM Rishi Sunak warned Briton to not ‘surrender’ to Keir Starmer.

He is expected to return to the camp before England’s last-16 game on Sunday where they will face either Holland or the runners-up from Group E.
