Premier League fixtures this weekend – Can City close the gap?
The Premier League returns this weekend with seven fixtures taking place. A Manchester City win will take them within a point of league leaders Liverpool, and a win for Arsenal will keep them within two points of the top – keeping the title race tight.
Manchester United face Fulham, and it’s a bit of a must-win for the Red Devils to ensure they are a step closer to making the Champions League next season. The fight for sixth place is tight with only a few points between the teams, meaning it’s still up for grabs.
On Sunday, at the bottom of the table Sheffield United face Wolverhampton and it’s a must-win. It won’t take them out of the relegation zone just yet, but at this point, Sheffield will need to start winning to have any hopes of surviving the drop.
