Jessica Biel has admitted she loves eating in the show and described it as ‘a relief in so many ways’.

The 41-year-old actress, who has children Silas, eight, and Phineas, three, with husband Justin Timberlake, joked she’s keen to ‘start a movement’ and get more people on the bandwagon.

‘I really want to start a movement, a shower-eating movement,’ she said in a TikTok video this week. ‘I think, for people who are multitasking, it’s just going to be a relief in so many ways.’

For anyone looking to embrace the idea – we’re tempted! – Jessica insisted there are some ‘rules’ she follows to make things comfortable.

‘A ledge is really helpful,’ she explained. ‘Somewhere that you can stick your cup, your yogurt container, your coffee, your espresso—whatever it is you’re enjoying.

I like to take a bite or a sip and put it on the ledge, and then you do your thing.’

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Hitchock actress admitted there are potential pitfalls with her watery eating habit, and it’s important to ‘keep your mouth’ shut.

‘Only tricky thing is, when you’re chewing, you gotta keep your mouth closed,’ she explained. ‘Because I still like to get under the water while I’m chewing, and for whatever reason, I want to open my mouth at the same time and spit water.’

She added: ‘So, chew, do not open the mouth [and] do not let the shower water in. There you go, enjoy your shower-consuming.’

While some users including @ManyHiddenTreasures replied to say there should be ‘no food in the bathroom’, other people are getting on board with the idea.

‘Currently eating a bag of Doritos in the bath while watching this 👌,’ commented follower @smcboymom, while Jessica herself replied with a string of applauding emojis.

‘@Justin Timberlake your girlfriend is changing peoples lives 😂😂😂,’ added @cougienickysams2, while @LindsayGoss2012 said: ‘Totally eat in the tub🤷‍♀️while watching a show, drinking an adult beverage.’
