Alec Baldwin has been seen for the first time after being indicted on involuntary manslaughter following the fatal shooting on the set of Rust.
The Departed actor, 65, faces fresh charges by a New Mexico grand jury following the death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins in 2021 on the set of his film after Baldwin discharged a firearm.
Following the news, Baldwin appeared solemn as he stood outside in the Hamptons on Sunday.
He was seen zipping up a large black puffer jacket while walking with his children outside as the family braved the cold.
It comes after sources revealed the latest charges have proved to be ‘very stressful’ for the Boss Baby star.
‘They had a great Christmas and New Year. Hilaria also just turned 40. This is not how they wanted to start the new year,’ the insider told People.

‘It’s stressful for Hilaria. It’s frustrating for them both that Alec is being recharged. They knew there was a possibility there would be a new indictment. The back and forth is hard. It’s very stressful.’
The indictment was returned on Friday, and sees the actor facing a possible 18 months in prison if convicted after being charged with involuntary manslaughter on the grounds of negligent use of a firearm and disregard for others’ safety.
Baldwin’s attorneys Luke Nikas and Alex Spiro said in a statement following the news: ‘We look forward to our day in court.’
Gloria Allred, attorney for Hutchins’ family, said in a statement: ‘Our clients have always sought the truth about what happened on the day that Halyna Hutchins was tragically shot and killed on October 21, 2021.
‘They continue to seek the truth in our civil lawsuit for them and they also would like there to be accountability in the criminal justice system.
‘The grand jury has decided that there is sufficient evidence to indict Alec Baldwin on the charge of involuntary manslaughter.

‘We are looking forward to the criminal trial which will determine if he should be convicted for the untimely death of Halyna.’
The 65-year-old was holding a gun when it accidentally discharged on the set of Rust on October 21, 2021, resulting in the cinematographer’s fatal injuries.
He has always insisted that he was unaware that the weapon was loaded, and maintained his innocence.
Director Joel Souza was also injured in the incident but was released from hospital shortly after.
Last January, the 30 Rock actor was initially charged with involuntary manslaughter and pleaded not guilty, but the charge was dismissed without prejudice a few months later.
Prosecutors had stated that there was always a possibility that charges could be refiled.
Production on Rust was paused pending an investigation into Hutchins’ death and picked back up last April – but filming was moved from New Mexico to Montana.
Baldwin and Souza returned to complete the film, but it is not clear when the finished product will be released.
