In today’s MetroTalk we’re bracing ourselves for the cold and the NHS has suggested an unconventional method to sidestep icy mishaps.

While an amusing sight, it might not be the swiftest or most dignified mode of transportation, but it’s certainly safer than slipping. So, will you be waddling through the cold snap?

After Rishi Sunak just about squeezed his Rwanda bill through parliament, he asked whether the House of Lords would pass it or ‘frustrate the will of the people’?

Mr Sunak is, of course, an unelected prime minister trying to force through a bill that wasn’t even in his party’s manifesto – having scrapped both HS2 and net-zero targets, which were.
