Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) has always been exceptionally ambitious, and since being taken under Kim Tate’s (Claire King) wing in Emmerdale that has increased tenfold.
Earlier this year, the young wannabe-business woman beat Dawn Fletcher (Olivia Bromley) to the role of Kim’s deputy, and soon found herself with a lot more responsibilities.
While she revelled in the power this gave her, things didn’t always go to plan, and she often found herself facing Kim’s wrath, particularly after making silly mistakes.
However, she continued to forge on with her path to becoming a fully fledged business tycoon – until romance got in the way.

After falling in love with Nicky Milligan (Lewis Cope), Gabby soon had her heart broken when he dumped her just before their wedding, revealing that he is actually gay.
Things only went downhill for Gabby from there, as Nicky settled into life in the village, leaving her feeling as though she had no choice but to move away, much to Kim’s fury.
Not wanting to lose her grandson, Kim threatened to involve lawyers as she scolded Gabby for putting her own hurt before the wellbeing of her child. Headstrong Gabby was quick to fight back, where many others would shy away.

Thankfully, Gabby didn’t end up moving away at all, and is now well and truly back in business with Kim.
In upcoming scenes, Gabby realises that she needs advice, and who better to seek it from than her mentor?
However, as Gabby asks Kim, her response is ruthless, leaving the businesswoman-in-waiting amused.
