Tottenham could be without Son Heung-min for up to four Premier League games as the Asian Cup begins in January.
Son, who captains South Korea, is expected to play his final game of the year for Spurs on Sunday as Ange Postecoglou’s side host Bournemouth.
The 31-year-old will then meet up with his South Korea teammates at their training camp in Abu Dhabi on January 2.
South Korea’s Asian Cup group-stage campaign begins against Bahrain on January 15 before they play Jordan on January 20 and Malaysia on January 25.
If Jurgen Klinsmann’s side progress from the group stage, they will play their round-of-16 fixture on either January 30 or 31, depending on where they finish in the table.
The Asian Cup quarter-final ties will then be held on February 2 and 3, while the semi-finals are on February 6 and 7.
The final, which will be held at the Lusail Stadium in Qatar, is scheduled for February 10.

If South Korea make it to the end of the tournament, that would mean Son will be absent for six games for Tottenham across the Premier League and the FA Cup.
After playing Bournemouth on New Year’s Eve, Spurs host Burnley in the FA Cup third round on January 5.
If they beat Vincent Kompany’s side, Son will also miss Spurs’ fourth-round tie which will be scheduled across the weekend of January 27.
