Three men have died after their 4×4 crashed into the River Esk in the North York Moors.
The incident happened at around 11.48am near the village of Glaisdale, around 10 miles west of Whitby in North Yorkshire.
A fourth man, who was pulled out of the river after swimming in to try and rescue those in the car, has been receiving medical treatment.
The vehicle was pulled out of the river by the fire service at around 3pm.
North Yorkshire Police said next of kin are currently being informed about the incident.
