The festive season is almost upon us and next week takes things to the next level in the land of soap (Picture: BBC / ITV / Lime Pictures)
‘Twas the week before Christmas and there was chaos and drama aplenty in the land of soap, with the beginnings of the disaster set to ensue.
Yes, three of our main soaps ramp up the pace next week as we approach the festive season, with big discoveries and shocks aplenty.
Suki Panesar is on a mission to find out what happened to Eve Unwin in EastEnders, concocting a revenge plot which is soon stopped in its tracks when Nish is arrested for Eve’s murder.
Oh dear.
Emmerdale, meanwhile, sees Kim Tate facing some serious questions, while Mackenzie Boyd is kidnapped. But by who?
Over in Coronation Street, Peter Barlow shocks Carla with a huge revelation, revealing that he’s lost all interest in life.
In Hollyoaks, Christmas comes early, with the Channel 4 soap as ever not airing any new episodes on Christmas Day, meaning that fans can expect the residents of the serial to celebrate the festivities next week instead of the week after.
And it’s going to be big one in the eponymous village!
For all your soapy needs, Metro has put together a first look at what’s to come next week, so if you want to know what happens, we’ve got you covered.
