EastEnders spoilers: Mitch rocked to the core by Karen’s child kidnap confession

Mitch Baker (Roger Griffiths) sees Karen Taylor (Lorraine Stanley) in a completely different light soon as he learns what really happened when Albie was kidnapped in EastEnders.

We know that Keanu (Danny Walters), Karen and her brother-in-law Malcolm were behind Albie going missing and currently, Sharon (Letitia Dean) has no idea of the truth.

Shortly after Karen picked Albie up and returned him to Sharon, Keanu admitted that he was still in love with his ex.

After reuniting with Sharon, Keanu faced Karen’s angry wrath, who said the truth behind Albie going missing wouldn’t stay secret forever.

Coming up, the chance of Sharon learning of Keanu’s lies increases once again.

In the pub, Mitch is busy organising a birthday party for Karen.

As the event gets underway, Mitch becomes suspicious of Karen’s cash flow when she agrees to pay for a large drinks tab.

While Mitch continues to try and repair the relationship between Karen and Keanu, the pair are stunned when Malcolm arrives at the party and Albie takes a shine to him.

After an innocent chat with Sharon, Malcolm is disgusted when he learns about his involvement in the staged kidnap.

Back at the flat, Keanu demands that Karen hands over the ransom money but she outright refuses.

They are then interrupted by Mitch and once Keanu leaves, Karen tearfully reveals all.
