It’s that time of week again when Metro gives you an in-depth preview of what’s to come in soapland, featuring all the spoilers, goss and news that you could possibly need.
Next week is shaping up to be another unmissable one all across the genre, with EastEnders serving up the aftermath of Albie’s kidnap, while also lighting up our screens with a shocking fire that threatens one of the show’s finest.
You won’t want to miss that.
Coronation Street, meanwhile, airs two returns, while Emmerdale focuses in on the aftermath of Craig Reed’s murder, in addition to Eric Pollard’s diagnosis.
Over in Hollyoaks, Mercedes McQueen and Warren Fox struggle to keep their hands of each other and Neighbours sees a huge development in Reece Sinclair’s search for her sister, with a big return also on the cards.

EastEnders
1. With Albie still missing, the residents of Walford join the search while Sharon confides in Phil about the £50,000 ransom note, with the hardman agreeing to give her the cash. Phil insists on doing the money drop himself while Karen urges Sharon to let her do it, with Sharon subsequently agreeing to the latter option. Karen meets with Kandice’s husband Malcolm to retrieve Albie, attempting to act normal for fear she’ll blow her cover. But will Karen and Keanu get away with their crime?

2. Nish piles on the pressure for Rocky to pay back his loan, urging him to steal a car from the car lot. At first, Rocky agrees but, after a heart-to-heart with recovering Jay, he reconsiders. Rocky is about to throw in the towel and confess all, until he has an idea.
3. With Sonia having put the idea in his head, Rocky suggests to Harvey that he burn down the cafe and claim on the insurance. With Kathy awaiting his arrival for a romantic dinner, Rocky sets fire to the cafe following another spell of dodgy electrics.

4. While out and about, Bobby spots the blaze at the cafe and attempts to extinguish it, but it explodes and knocks him unconscious, trapping him inside.
5. Cindy and Ian reluctantly make plans on the renovation of their new shop ‘Beale’s Eels’, but the Knights are appalled at them over their association with Dean Wicks.
6. Sonia and Reiss head to the hospital for their first round of IVF, but it’s not long before Reiss’ overbearing actions start to annoy Sonia. Later, Sonia is further irritated when Reiss attempts to administer her IVF medication and, after a furious row, Sonia tells him that she’s not sure if this is going to work.
Coronation Street
7. Carla returns from a fruitless business trip to find Michael back at the factory, with Sarah sticking to her guns. There’s more horror ahead, however, as they’ve no way of paying the staff thanks to Stephen – unless they can complete the new client order by tomorrow. Carla lies to the staff, assuring them they’ll all get paid, but when they uncover the truth they down tools and refuse to work. Carla and Sarah make it quite clear that, if they don’t help, the factory is finished.
8. Dylan is left with food for thought when George remarks that the boarded-up Rovers is an eyesore. The teens break into the pub, with Mason betting that Dylan will cop off with Leyla, leaving Dylan embarrassed. Dylan and Leyla subsequently kiss, with Leyla suggesting they go upstairs – just as Sean and George arrive!

9. Paul attends his speech therapy session while Billy has a meeting with the bishop, hoping to get his job back. The bishop lifts the suspension, much to Billy’s glee, but there’s heartbreak to come with Paul being told by the MND nurse that he only has 6 to 12 months to live.
10. Ryan is chuffed when he receives a message from Crystal telling him she’s watched his livestream and owes him an apology. Crystal organises a drink with him but Carla is less than pleased, warning Ryan that she’s nothing but trouble.

11. Bernie meets with Big Garth and asks him to flog the rest of their gear at a knockdown price as she desperately needs money. Big Garth subsequently hands Bernie a wad of cash but unbeknown to them a police officer takes photos. As Bernie heads home, she’s arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods.
12. As Daniel discusses their house move, Daisy does her best to appear enthusiastic. Jenny urges Daisy to think carefully about what it is she wants before she signs anything.

Emmerdale
13. The police continue to investigate in the aftermath of Craig’s death. Lydia, meanwhile, resolves to move out as she goes to stay with Kim, leaving Sam worried that he’s lost her for good.
14. Bernice is keeping a big secret as she receives a series of mystery phone calls but just what is going on?

15. Eric is not acting himself which leaves Brenda incredibly concerned, with subsequent scenes seeing her open up to Nicola, who encourages her to move on and find another man. With fire in her heart, Brenda resolves to do just that.
16. Jai and Laurel are appalled to learn that Amit attacked Nicky because of his sexuality and therefore cut him out of their lives.
17. Belle encourages Tom to book flights for his mum’s funeral. Tom, however opens up, revealing he doesn’t want to go it alone, with Belle agreeing to accompany him.

Hollyoaks
18. Despite a setback at the masquerade ball, Sienna ups the ante in her mission to win Rafe, resolving to get Camilla out of the way, with some assistance from Ste. After giving it some thought, she decides to spike Camilla at an event, hoping to make her look unreliable, but Ste has his doubts about the plan, with some shocks on the cards as everything goes awry.
19. Carter is left seething when John Paul declines his offer to help out at the church, instead choosing to help Scott with a queer day at the youth centre. When the head teacher spots John Paul assisting Scott with an audition in drag, he snaps a picture and posts it anonymously, writing that these two men shouldn’t be allowed to run a youth group.

20. Mercedes pleads with Warren to spend more time with Felix but, riddled with guilt, he refuses. With things spiralling out of control, Mercedes decides to drive to Plymouth to visit Bobby, with Warren offering to take her. While on the way, the car breaks down and tension rises, with Warren admitting that he wants Mercedes. Mercedes confesses that she feels the same, with the two getting closer and closer.
21. Ethan is down in the dumps over Sienna. Norma, meanwhile, is upset that Ella no longer wants to be a part of her life and thus suggests that she and Ethan join forces to help one another.
Neighbours
22. With Tess having ordered her to return home to the US, Reece is left conflicted as she questions everything. Byron, meanwhile, stands by her side, with the two inching closer and closer to answers in the search for Krista.
