Champions League: Newcastle United vs Borussia Dortmund – Prediction, kick-off time, team news, TV, live stream
Group Stage
October 25 | 20:00 BST | St James’ Park
Borussia Dortmund will meet Newcastle Unite at St James’ Park on Wednesday, in the latest Champions League match.
Eddie Howe’s side are top of Group F after a 4-1 home win against PSG and a goalless draw at AC Milan.
Only two years ago, Newcastle were bottom of the Premier League and still waiting to get their first points.
Now they’re playing Champions League football and are sitting in 6th place in the Premier League.
“Even sat here doing a press conference before a Champions League game seemed impossible,” said Sean Longstaff, who made his Newcastle debut in 2016.
“To be in this position now is a real privilege.
“It’s a competition I’ve watched since I was a little kid, to finally be playing in it is something I am trying to take in my stride.”

Newcastle United Team News
In their Saturday Premier League match they thrashed Crystal Palace 4-0.
They’ll be without Sven Botman this game, who’s been out for the last five matches with a knee injury.
Joe Willock has returned to training and could play again after five months out with a hamstring issue.
Sandro Tonali – who’s awaiting news of investigations into alleged betting offences, is likely feature in the match.
Howe said: “As far as I’m aware I’m expecting him to be available.
“I’ll plan like that until told differently.”
Alexander Isak joined Tonali among the substitutes at the weekend, but he is expected to shrug off a knee problem to lead the line against Dortmund.

Borussia Dortmund will be without Mateu Morey, Youssoufa Moukoko and Julian Ryerson, but most of Edin Terzic’s squad are fit and ready to fight for three points at St James’ Park.

Prediction
Newcastle United 3-1 Borussia Dortmund
Newcastle are on fire at the moment and it doesn’t look like it will be slowing down any time soon.
Defeat for Dortmund would be their 50th loss in the Champions League and will put them in real trouble in progressing from Group F.
