Israel hits hundreds of Gaza sites as it warns campaign may last months

The ongoing Middle East conflict is intensifying as Israel says it has hit 320 more targets in the Gaza Strip. But Palestinian authorities say civilian homes were hit “without warning.”

The UN agency for Palestinian refugees says the situation in southern Gaza is so bad that some civilians are returning north after the ‘safe routes’ were bombed by Israel. Israel hits hundreds of Gaza sites overnight and indiscriminately ‘carpet bombing Gaza’, Killing and injuring thousands of civilians.

    Israel’s defence minister Yoav Gallant

Israel’s defence minister Yoav Gallant has said the campaign could take “one month, two months, three months … at the end there will be no more Hamas.”

Gallant has also hinted at a ground attack but says before Hamas “meets our tanks and our infantry, they will know the shells from our air force.”

In Gaza, another 14 aid trucks arrived on Sunday but the United Nations (UN) has warned that “more, much more” is needed.

The situation in Gaza is unbelievable, You can see the IDF incursion into the south where Palestinians are trying to flee but are being killed. This happened east of Khan Younis in southern Gaza – the city where Palestinians had been told to go for their own safety – and Israeli soldiers crossed the fence and shot at Palestinian civilians.
