An Emmerdale character is set to put their marriage at serious risk this winter, by embarking on a passionate affair.
And Kim Tate (Claire King) is at the top of the suspect list, which could mean bad news for Will Taylor (Dean Andrews).
The couple have been married for just over a year, but minx Kim does have form for steamy extra-marital encounters.
Many will fondly remember her love story with Dave Glover, who she fell hard for while married to doomed Frank Tate.
With show boss Laura Shaw promising a surprise betrayal before the end of the year, is Kim set to break her wedding vows already?
Many have questioned the taming of the former superbitch. Many are enjoying the loving bonds she has formed with Lydia Dingle (Karen Blick) and Mary Goskirk (Louise Jameson).
This is very much in character for Kim, who in the past had an unexpected but warm friendship with Seth Armstrong.

And Eric Pollard and Brenda Walker have been awfully quiet of late. Ahead of the arrival of their baby, could Billy and Dawn also be in for a scandal?
It remains to be seen who is getting to grips with someone they shouldn’t, but there is clearly heartbreak to come.

However, the other side of her is one of villainy and naughtiness. When she first returned, she took a thrill in slating every villager, before also setting an assassin on Joe Tate.
In recent times though, she has tamed significantly, even letting Harriet Finch off very lightly for trying her luck with Will.
So is it now time for the old Kim to resurface?
Speaking to Metro.co.uk, producer Laura revealed: ‘We love an affair in soap, so we’ve got a very passionate, steamy affair coming up between two people, and one of them at the moment is seemingly very happily married.
‘The affair is going to have huge repercussions. It’s going to affect a lot of our villagers.
‘It’s also going to ultimately lead to a new arrival joining the show, which I can’t tell you about just yet because it won’t be until next year, but we’re very excited about it here.

‘It’s going to be explosive, and that new arrival is going to cause uproar in the village.’
Of course, many other theories are doing the rounds – although there are a surprisingly low amount of happy marriages in the Dales ripe for ruining.
Laurel and Jai are front runners, though might be too occupied with the arrival of Jai’s newly found dad Amit.
