With the Carabao Cup back in action, is Brentford vs Arsenal on TV tonight?
The Metro says Brentford will seek a victory in the Carabao Cup that could see Arsenal face humiliating back-to-back third-round exits.
Despite Brentford still smarting from a rare home defeat to Everton, if Arsenal lose, it’s bound to bring back sore memories from when they were knocked out of the contest last season by Brighton 3-1.
However, with Brentford still without Rico Henry (expected to be out for the season with an ACL injury), Ben Mee absent for their defeat against Everton, and Josh Dasilva, Shandon Baptiste, and Mikkel Damsgaard all still sidelined, their victory is anything but assured.
Arsenal have also yet to be eliminated at this stage of the competition for two consecutive campaigns in the past and have only lost one of their last eight engagements with Brentford.
