Women across the world have thrown their support behind Sophie Turner amid her divorce with Joe Jonas.
The former couple, who share two children together, sparked speculation over their relationship before confirming their split earlier this week, bringing their ‘wonderful’ four-year marriage to an end.
Sources have claimed that while ‘she likes to party, he likes to stay at home’ –despite resurfaced interviews suggesting the opposite.
Sophie and Joe released a joint statement earlier this week confirming their split, which read: ‘After four wonderful years of marriage we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage.
‘There are many speculative narratives as to why but, truly this is a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children.’
Since then, Joe has faced backlash for comments made about Sophie that allude to their children and her partying, while the internet has rallied around the Game Of Thrones star.

While she did not directly reference Sophie and Joe’s divorce, model Emily Ratajkowski shared a video saying she finds it ‘chic to be divorced by the age of 30.’
‘It seems that a lot of young ladies are getting divorced before they turn 30,’ she said in a video posted to TikTok.
‘As someone who got married at 26 [who] has been separated for a little over a year [at] 32, I have to tell you, I don’t think there’s anything better.’
Emily announced her separation from ex-husband Sebastian Bear-McClard in September last year after they tied the knot in 2018. The couple share one son, Sylvester Apollo Bear, whom they welcomed in 2021.
She continued: ‘There is nothing better than being in your thirties, still being hot, maybe having a little bit of your own money, figuring out what you want to do with your life [and] everything, and having tried that married fantasy and realizing that it’s maybe not all it’s cracked up to be.’

Emily added there is no reason to ‘feel stressed’ about being divorced as ‘you’ve got your whole life still ahead of you.’
Geo News has reported that Sophie’s GOT castmates have liked her divorce statement on Instagram, including Emilia Clarke, Nathalie Emmaniel, and Maisie Williams who served as Sophie’s maid of honour when she married Joe.
TikTok has been flooded with supportive videos about Sophie, with many praising her for having an identity outside of being a mother and enjoying her career and downtime.
Others applauded Sophie’s PR team for ‘fighting back’ with claimed that Joe was ‘less than supportive’ following the birth of their second child.
