Stacey was horrified to find Lily and Charli gone (Picture: BBC)
Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) faced every mother’s worst nightmare in EastEnders when she found daughter Lily (Lillia Turner) and new granddaughter Charli missing.
After arriving back at the hospital where Lily was recovering having just given birth, Stacey was horrified to find an empty room, with no sign of Lily or her baby anywhere.
When Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) entered, he was equally as shocked to see them gone, having only left the room to briefly speak with a midwife.
Viewers soon learnt exactly where Lily was, as she wandered down the hospital corridor pushing Charli in her crib.
It was outside the lifts that she ran into terrifying stalker Theo, though she didn’t know the extent of the danger she was in.

It was actually Lily who had invited him to visit, having previously told Ricky Mitchell (Frankie Day) that he was worth adding to the group chat about presents for baby Charli, as he was ‘loaded’.
Lily was quick to ask Theo for help with her baby, as she couldn’t get her to stop crying and didn’t have Stacey around to help.
As Theo rocked baby Charli to settle her, he revealed to Lily that he had come to say goodbye, following a disagreement with Stacey.

Viewers will know that Stacey had reported Theo to the police the previous day after his confession that he had been the person stalking her. However, police had no choice but to let him go when they were able to find no evidence against him.
Theo completely changed the story as he delighted in telling Lily that her mum was doing cam work again, something that Lily had been dead against from the very beginning.

Thankfully, it was then that Stacey caught up with her, taking back Charli and demanding that Lily get away from Theo.
Unfortunately for the Slaters, this may not be the last we see of him, as the end of the episode showed him enquiring about moving into the house next door to theirs.
