Someone catches Dee-Dee’s eye (Picture: ITV)
It appears love is in the air for Dee-Dee Bailey (Channique Sterling-Brown) in Coronation Street.
The beloved character made her arrival last year and has so far been at the centre of dramatic storylines rather than romantic ones.
Shortly after Dee-Dee made her way to the cobbles, she joined Alya (Sair Khan) in a mission to prove that Stu Carptener (Bill Fellows) was wrongly imprisoned for murder.
Dee-Dee was successful and impressed solicitor Adam (Sam Robertson) so much, he offered her a job at his firm.

Most recently, Dee-Dee found herself caught in Sarah’s (Tina O’Brien) web of lies when she worked out that she had slept with Damon Hay (Ciaran Griffiths).
Dee-Dee kept Sarah’s secret, which eventually led to Adam asking for a divorce, adamant that he could no longer trust his wife.

Upcoming episodes of the ITV soap will see Dee-Dee’s skills as a lawyer put to the test again when she’s called in to help Lauren (Cait Fitton), who is arrested for causing criminal damage at the salon.
When Dee-Dee heads to the station, she meets duty solicitor Joel, and it’s very clear Dee-Dee is impressed.

Joel will be played by former Hollyoaks star Calum Lill.
