Get ready for a new week (Picture: Getty/Metro.co.uk)
A busy cosmic week- Virgo season is upon us, as well as both a Mercury and Uranus retrograde. The planets are transiting left, right and centre!
The key here is staying organised, focused, and fairly ruthless about doing what needs doing, what is urgent and important.
Don’t get distracted, rushed, pressured, or overwhelmed. Keep it super simple. Start with a very small list (life will add to it as you go along, no doubt…).
Let the tarot give you a nudge as to what your no.1 priority is this week. And then stick to it!
Aries
March 21 to April 20
Fly under the radar this week (Picture: Getty/Metro.co.uk)
Tarot card for Aries for this week: Five of Swords
Meaning: Focus on staying out of trouble, stress, bother, and arguments. Focus on getting out of any that you do happen to either already be in, or fall into somehow.
The Five of Swords shows the biggest drain on your attention and energy this week could be an unnecessary spat with someone that rattles you and distracts you away from more important stuff. You are ruled by Mars, you love a scrap… but not this week please, Aries.

Taurus
April 21 to May 21
Put pleasure at the top of your list (Picture: Getty/Metro.co.uk)
Tarot card for Taurus for this week: Three of Cups
Meaning: You will be very pleased to hear Taurus, that the Three of Cups reveals fun and enjoyment are your number one priority this week. How delightful, how very Venus! Well, life is short and we’re here for a good time, not a long time, so get busy living and making merry.
Do the things you most enjoy with the people you like the best. Find time to relax, shop, eat, drink, dance, create, flirt, and sleep. Have a lie in (or two). Order that takeaway. Chill out. This should be a very easy week for you.

Gemini
May 22 to June 21
Self-care is important (Picture: Getty/Metro.co.uk)
Tarot card for Gemini for this week: Death
Meaning: Your biggest priority this week is the process of change or transformation you’re going through – be this physical, mental, emotional, material, career-wise, appearance-wise, or whatever it is.
This is major and it’s here and now. You need to stay focused on delivering the steps and meeting the hurdles, on doing what needs doing and keeping it moving. Change is tiring, it eats up mental energy too. So be easy on yourself, Gem.

Cancer
June 22 to July 23
Let it all out (Picture: Getty/Metro.co.uk)
Tarot card for Cancer for this week: Ace of Swords
Meaning: Top of the list this week is having the tough or honest conversations you really need to have. Enough beating around the bush, enough deflection or fibbing or avoidance.
The Ace of Swords asks you to get things off your chest, ask for the truth, get the unanswered questions answered, and reach the heart of the issue. From there, you can work with reality and with the crux of the matter. From there, your efforts will no longer be wasted.

Leo
July 24 to August 23
Look after yourself (Picture: Getty/Metro.co.uk)
Tarot card for Leo for this week: Eight of Swords
Meaning: Don’t watch what everyone else is doing, don’t worry about them getting ahead, don’t dwell on their opinions or project your own anxieties onto them.
Focus on yours truly. Stop comparing, judging, seeking, and overdoing it. Zoom in to your own private realm and what is important there this week. You don’t have to perform for or please anyone else. You should just do what matters in your own life. Zoom in on that and you will be dandy.

Virgo
August 24 to September 23
Eat the frog, Virgo (Picture: Getty/Metro.co.uk)
Tarot card for Virgo for this week: Nine of Wands
Meaning: Do the hardest thing first. Make a list of the urgent and important and decide what looks toughest, longest or most tricky from that batch and start there.
The Nine of Wands shows that you’ll be surprised how easy it actually is, and this will both boost your self esteem and get one major job off the list quickly from the outset. Have confidence in yourself, make a robust plan, and execute it.

Libra
September 24 to October 23
It’s time for a new start (Picture: Getty/Metro.co.uk)
Tarot card for Libra for this week: The Fool
Meaning: Focus on the newest (or emerging) item on your agenda. Tackle the fresh start you’ve been planning or dreaming of. Bring the newness in your realm and make it work. That is the priority this week with the expectant and enthusiastic Fool.
This priority might not suit others and you might get some frowns and raised eyebrows… ignore them. You do what suits you and what makes you feel revived, refreshed, and ready for the next chapter.

Scorpio
October 24 to November 22
There’s no use dealing with things alone (Picture: Getty/Metro.co.uk)
Tarot card for Scorpio for this week: Nine of Swords
Meaning: Have a good, long chat with a close friend or family member (or therapist) early on this week and share your deepest fears which have been keeping you awake and alarmed at 4am recently.
Get them off your chest, out into the open, and let them fade in power and potency when they’re called out in the cold light of day. Saying things out loud releases us from their grip, we can twist, turn, and face them head on. Deal with this and you’ll feel ready and able to tackle everything else with gusto.

Sagittarius
November 23 to December 21
You’re bossing it (Picture: Getty/Metro.co.uk)
Tarot card for Sagittarius for this week: The Emperor
Meaning: Take control, take the reins, be the big boss this week. Make demands, assert your authority, command respect, get stuff done. Mark a straight line from A to B and walk it with no impediments. Be direct and focused.
The Emperor is a surge of power and directness you can place into any project, task or situation that you feel ‘done to’ vs being the doer. Switch the tables around and take charge. You will find everything goes so much easier. It’s time to lead.

Capricorn
December 22 to January 21
Put that pragmatism to good use (Picture: Getty/Metro.co.uk)
Tarot card for Capricorn for this week: Judgment
Meaning: Your priority is to use your discerning powers of judgment to decide what matters, what doesn’t, and what needs a new approach to make it worthwhile.
This is a week to let epiphanies and home truths emerge and guide you, with an open mind and heart, towards a new to-do list and a new approach, be that your own behaviour, or collaboration, or technology. Seeing things differently, and as they truly are, will allow you to handle them in the right way. Do that and you can handle everything.

Aquarius
January 22 to February 19
Seek alternate perspectives (Picture: Getty/Metro.co.uk)
Tarot card for Aquarius for this week: The Hierophant
Meaning: Your priority this week is to seek a good mentor, advisor, teacher, leader, counsellor, guide, or expert. You have reached the ends of your own knowledge or skill and need someone to help teach, guide, or lead you to the next level.
This might be formal education, a professional appointment, a workshop, a chat, or a digital course. It could be via any channel but the vital thing is the content you receive, it’s content you can use to progress and get beyond where you’re currently at. Get help.

Pisces
February 20 to March 20
You’ll feel better when you pin down a decision (Picture: Getty/Metro.co.uk)
Tarot card for Pisces for this week: Two of Swords
Meaning: Your number one task is to make that big decision you’ve been dancing around. The Two of Swords calls time. It reveals that procrastination is seeping into the process and that will only drag this whole thing out longer, it won’t help or make it go any smoother, faster, or easier.
List your pros and cons, talk it through, sleep on it… and decide. There is no perfect answer and if you go awry then it doesn’t matter, you can make a fresh choice later on. But, for now, get past this cross roads, don’t get stuck here.
