We’ve all had a bad kiss or two but Jessica Chastain’s ‘nightmare’ kiss sounds truly grim but proves she’s the consummate professional.
The 46-year-old is no stranger to steamy scenes, with fans noticing her chemistry on-screen with Oscar Isaac leaking onto the red carpet.
While Scenes From A Marriage changed their friendship, we’re not sure Jessica’s theatre co-stars will be feeling the same intensity.
She confessed that while performing on Broadway in A Doll’s House, she actually vomited in her mouth during one show.
That’s not something anyone wants to experience while on stage in front of hundreds, especially when you’re about to plant one on your unsuspecting co-star.
‘I can say it now, ’cause we’re closed. This is really gross, what I’m gonna tell you guys: I threw up,’ she revealed on the SmartLess podcast.

Jessica continued: ‘I threw up and I swallowed it. And no one knew!’
What a professional, thankfully this didn’t interrupt the show or stop the Zero Dark Thirty actress from receiving a Tony nomination for her performance.
She portrayed protagonist Nora Helmer opposite Arian Moayed as husband Torvald for the show’s run, which ended in June.
‘I was kinda, like, sobbing and I leaned over and it happened,’ she added, ‘I had to kiss someone.
‘Yes. It was a nightmare and I couldn’t explain. That night it was definitely a closed-mouth kiss.’
Nora is on stage for the entire production, with no interval break so Jessica wasn’t able to explain what happened to anyone.
It wasn’t until the curtains fell and the show finished that the Oscar winner could explain why the usually ‘sensual’ kiss had been cut short.
‘The second we had the curtain call and the curtain came down, I said, “you guys, I’m so sorry, I vomited”,’ Jessica laughed.
