Marquinhos is set to leave Arsenal after agreeing a deal to join Nantes on loan, according to reports in France.
Mikel Arteta’s side signed the Brazilian winger in a £3 million deal from Sao Paulo last summer.
The 20-year-old made just six appearances for the Gunners before he was allowed to join Norwich City on loan in the January transfer window.
Marquinhos trained with Arsenal’s squad during pre-season but was left out of the squad for the victory over Manchester City in the Community Shield on Sunday.
According to Ouest-France, Marquinhos is now on the verge of joining Nantes on loan for the upcoming campaign.
The report claims that Nantes will not have an option to buy the Brazilian at the end of the loan spell.

Elsewhere, Arsenal have turned down Monaco’s bid for Folarin Balogun.
The Gunners are seeking a £50 million fee for the striker, who scored 22 goals on loan at Reims last season.
Inter are also weighing up a move for the 22-year-old.
